"Peep a BOO!!!"

LOL!!

Here's Maddie playing what she calls "Peep a Boo" under the little paddling pool on our deck. She was really hamming it up for me too..she usually wants nothing to do with me taking pictures of her! ;)

I am so excited...tomorrow my friend Cathy and I are taking a photography class to learn how to use our cameras!!! LOL...i have been having tons of fun playing around with mine but really i have no idea what it is capable of!! So i hope this class is good and i learn a lot from it! Other wise i will be bugging my sister with questions...although i will probably do that anyway!!!

I got my comp copy of Doodling for papercrafters 2 days ago in the mail! I am so excited about this book...it is so cute. I can't wait to try some of the techniques in it....plus my layout got it's own page all to itself!!! i will take pics and post them later.

Well...i think i am recovered from my little vacation although i really miss being over there...we had so much fun! :) I will be posting more pics of that soon too...i need to go in and start editing them...so it might take a little while!

Another OPAAT layout...

Hey all...

things are busy here...gearing up for all our church programs to start up again...

tonight we have our kids stuff...and cafe!

I finished up another OPAAT layout using the Oct. kit. I made the little flower from the pipe cleaner that came in the kit.

Matthew's eye is really black now...i have been taking pictures of it and it looks like he is wearing very funky eyeshadow!!! LOL

Matthew had show and share today at preschool and he got to share about Ireland...he brought some pictures in and wore his new football skip and football spikes that he got while in ireland...he was so handsome in it!! I even put gel in his hair...he thought he was gorgeous!! hehe...

First shiner....new designs and 7 years!!

Ok where to start??

Matthews "Shiner"...yep my boy got his first ever black eye!!

He was playing "War" with his friend Joey who is a little older and bigger...they were using hockey sticks as swords and well lets just say Matthew lost the battle!! Although he is very proud of his shiner!!! LOL

I arrived home on Thursday September 20th to my gorgeous OPAAT Oct. kit and i have been creating with it most evenings. For the card i used a bazzill big tag and folded it up!! The other layouts are of Matthew's War wound and a layout about my online girls...who i got to meet a few weeks ago...can't wait to see them all again too!!! ;)

Yesterday PJ and I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary by going to Erie and getting an external hard drive to back up my pictures {my computer is on the fritz so right now i am using his}.

But anyway...yes we celebrated 7 years of marriage yesterday...we had a nice dinner and a good day together.

Well i have a few minutes here so i thought i would upload some pictures from our trip to N.Ireland!! I have tons to tell you but only have time to upload some pics...Janine and Andy, Mum and Dad...call me! We miss you too!

PS...yes we all walked across that bridge!!! The kids actually loved it too :)

I made it home...

SAFE and SOUND!!
It was a HORRIBLE flight...really really horrible.
The plane was freezing cold and the Air hostesses where horrible...
the kids were GREAT though...so well behaved...they slept a lot!
Matthew got to watch Pirates of the carribean 3!!! I thought it was quite scary for him but he seemed to love it!! LOL
Our little holiday was AWESOME...the kids loved seeing their Aunt Zeneen {Janine} and Uncle Andy and of course Buddy!!! Madison ADORED buddy {Janine's dog} and talked about him all the way home...
I am tired and cannot wait to sleep in my own bed tonight!!
I will be posting pictures soon...my camera is loaded with them! LOL

I will be gone for 2 weeks and don't know how much i can check in so i am saying goodbye for now! I am so excited about this trip...it has been 4 years since i was last there.

PRAY my kids are good in the plane and sleep all night {we are flying at night}.

Well i had a nice little surprise last night...

My friend Cathy and I were chatting online and she mentioned that she was flipping through her scrapbooks Ect magazine and she noticed a card that looked something like i would make, so she investigated a little further and sure enough the card in the magazine was MINE!!! I had uploaded it to their online gallery months ago...and i had NO IDEA they were publishing it in their magazine {October issue}. it was a nice surprise...it is the card at the bottom with the red polka dot flower. How cool is that!!! :) Now to find a SBE magazine...Walmart only had the Aug/sept issue.

I also created 2 cards using my September OPAAT kit.

LOVE the big stamp in this kit...it makes really cute flowers!

Bye Bye Toby Tadpole...

This is Matthew checking in on Toby Tadpole!!! {bless}

OK...how about the "Horrible Mum of the year" award goes to ME...

Yes that's right...i am horrible.

So at the beginning of the week Matthew tells me very excitedly that he has a new pet!!! I was like "OK...where is this pet, and how big is it"???

So he leads me over to the large green cooler that is sitting on our deck...and tells me to look in it...ok, here we go, what on earth is in that cooler???!!! I open it up and to my surprise there doesn't seem to be anything in the cool except water...Matthew tells me to look closer because there was a little Tadpole in it...and sure enough there was the smallest tadpole swimming around! Matthew decides to name him TOBY Tadpole...he is soooooooooooooo HAPPY! He takes care of this tadpole all week...checks on it everyday...talks to it, you get the picture.

Well today i am in cleaning mode as we are heading to Ireland on Wednesday...so i am outside picking up and dumping water out of Maddie's water table and stuff...and there on the deck was a yellow cup filled with water...so i lift it and dump it onto the grass...just at that Matthew starts screaming and crying..."My tadpole...you through my Tadpole"....YEP that's right...he moved his tadpole into the yellow cup because Daddy was putting the cooler away...and Mummy through the tadpole into the grass never to be found again....he cried and cried and wailed and bawled for about 15 minutes...but he did forgive me in the end, although the wound is still deep as he cannot talk about the tadpole without tearing up and getting emotional...which breaks my heart :(

So there you have it...bye bye Toby Tadpole!

SEPTEMBER OPAAT Kit..

i finally got my OPAAT September kit!

I was so excited to get it...LOVE the chipboard clocks and the doodlebug gems!! So pretty. There is also a stamp in the kit made especially for OPAAT!! It is so cute...i am making a card using it at the minute so i will post that later...for now i have 2 layouts to share...i stayed up late creating...and will probably do the same tonight!!! LOL

PURE Happiness!

Yes that is a Canon rebel XTi in the photo and yes it is MINE!!!

It wasn't supposed to be here until next week...but when i tracked it yesterday it was in Jamestown which is about 15-20 minutes away...so instead of my package sitting in the Fedex building for 4 days my hubby went and picked it up for me! :)

I LOOOOOOOOOOVE it! It is so awesome...to celebrate we went to Dairy Queen and had some ice-cream...i of course took a few pictures!
