Give me your BEST smile!!!

LOL!!!! So last night i was just messing with my camera in our poorly lit Kitchen while the kids where eating pizza...i asked them both to give me their very best smiles!!! Well...if this is their best, i don't know! it's kinda scary!!! LOL

I also scrapped yesterday...the layout is of my gorgeous sister Heather on her wedding day!!! Isn't she a stunning Bride! LOVE these pictures of her. She also got her wedding album from my other Sister Janine...who did the pictures for her wedding and then made her the most gorgeous album...very unique and beautiful! I am quite jealous as Janine was not into photography and stuff when i got married so i missed out on her talent :( She took the above pictures...and that's just 2 of many many many beautiful pictures!!!!

Hi!!

So Christmas is over.

Wii....had a GREAT Christmas!!! ;)

YES...I got PJ a Wii!!! LOL

It wasn't easy...but we had quite the story to tell him when he opened it!!

He was sooooooooooooooooooooooooo surprised...it was GREAT!!!! LOL

Let's just say some guy from my sisters work ended up getting him one after my Mum stood in line day after day only to have them sold out from under her!!! Then to top it all off we put it in the Hughes family bingo game!!! LOL PJ never wins bingo {everyone brings a $5 gift and we play bingo to win them!!}...little did he know his wii was among those gifts!!! I decided to pick out a bingo card for him telling him it was definitely a winner...well turns out it was!!!!!!!!! He won the first game of bingo!!!!! {this was not set up in anyway at all!!!}...so of course i talked him into opening the big box with the gold bow....i think he almost fell off his chair when he opened it and we all cheered "MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!"....we all LOVE it!! It was definitely worth all the standing in line and shopping for one!!! :)

It arrived just before Christmas so i really had no time to do anything with it until now!!! It is gorgeous! LOTS of cute embellishments and paper. The ribbon is beautiful. I made a layout of my sister and her husband using it and one other little project that i will share later!!

Time to update!!

So...i guess it is time to update my blog before Christmas comes rushing upon us!!! LOL

I posted one of the pics i took of the kids by the tree...we had quite the photoshoot and i have to say this is one of the better pics i got...kids just don't like to cooperate sometimes!! hehe...

I have also been working on some scrappy stuff...i made this Family mini album and i totally LOVE it...these seem to be my fav colors to work with lately {brown and pink!}

The layout is for the baby book...thought i had better start scrapping the preggo pics now before the baby gets here and i have no time to scrap!!

Things have been good...

We have been BUSY {like everyone i guess}...

Madison is sick at the minute...she has double ear infection and is very congested but she is on the mend...hopefully by christmas she will be 100%.

I have been busy wrapping gifts and baking cookies for the million parties we have to go to...tomorrow is Matthews Christmas party in preschool and they sing songs and stuff and Santa comes to visit...it is always so cute!! Can't wait for that.

14 weeks...

So i made it...

to the 2nd trimester that is!! :)

I am currently just over 14 weeks. I feel good...and i may even be feeling some very light movement, just little flutters...i can't wait for those big kicks in the ribs!! LOL

I made PJ take some pics by the tree thursday...after i took the kids Christmas pictures...which actually turned out really cute!

5 to 10 weeks...

Well i guess i will start sharing some pregnancy pics...

The bump isn't much to look at YET!! But trust me i am working on a good sized bump for the weeks to come!!! LOL

This is me starting at 5 weeks then 8 weeks then 10 weeks...

I am currently 13.3 weeks and will take another pic this week sometime...

I think i have grown a little since my 10 week pic...

so stay tuned for more belly shots soon!! ;)

Everything is going well so far...i am over my sickness and i don't feel nearly as tired...i am craving fruit {which is GOOD!!} and salty things.

My next appointment is on the 13th and we will likely set up our ultrasound appointment!! I am excited for that one...hopefully we will beable to find out what we are having!! :)

The kids are getting so into it all...Matthew has went from not really caring to asking TONS of questions...and praying for the baby everynight before he goes to bed :)

Maddies creation...

I left madison eating her lunch today while i went to pick up in the livingroom...came back just minutes later to find her making this "birthday cake"!! LOL I normally don't allow playing with your food...but this was too cute not to take some pictures...plus she did eat her birthday cake!! LOL This girl cracks me up on a daily basis...she is always doing something to make me laugh.

December OPAAT kit!!!!

I got my kit last week and spent all weekend making stuff with it...i couldn't put it down!!! The Basic Grey paper is so yummy...and the Scenic Route paper, YUMMY...My minds eye paper, so pretty!!! Oh...the embellishments, bling, chipboard, ribbon, brads, and LACE paper from KI memories!!!! it just doesn't get much better than this!!! LOL

I am Thankful for....

STARWARS LEGO 2 game!!

Yes...that is what Matthew said he was Thankful for!! LOL

Not "My Mummy and Daddy" like 90% of the other preschoolers!!

Today was Matthew's preschool Thanksgiving program and feast!! It was a great time...the kids were absolutely adorable singing their turkey songs. :)

The food as always was YUMMMMMMMMMY!!

We are so proud of our Little Indian Bubba fet {again with the Starwars thing}.

He sang his heart out and did the motions so well.

New baby cathcart...

Well...we have a new baby on the way!!

As of today i am 10 weeks and 3 days pregnant...i had an ultrasound done at 8 weeks and 6 days...so of course i had to scrap the picture for the baby book!!

We are very excited...

The kids {well Madison} is soooooooooooooo excited and talks about the baby all the time....Matthew doesn't really care that much...although he does ask me random questions every now and again like "How did the baby get in your tummy" LOL!! I think he is more excited than he lets on...plus it is still early and i am not showing yet so i think once my tummy gets bigger and he can feel it moving he will be a lot more excited. :)

So that is the reason i have not been scrapping....i have been TIRED and a little sick in the very beginning...but i am feeling great now.

When my sister was over in the summer she bought Madison a little shopping cart and of course the stuff to go in the shopping cart...food and such. Well it turns out that this is one of Madisons favorite toys EVER!! She plays with it everyday...this picture is something that is very common in our house...i am constantly moving plastic carrots and cans of fake food off every table or chair in the house!! LOL But i am always glad to see it...she has so much fun with it, she cooks and bakes and is always making me beans!!! LOL Thanks Auntie Janine and Uncle Andy for such a great gift..it keeps her entertained for HOURS!!! ;)

I forgot...

I forgot to tell you all the story of Matthews gorgeous birthday cake!!! LOL
My sister made a comment on it so that reminded me.
Every year for my kids birthdays i have decided to make their cake myself...i do not bake and have NO IDEA how to make a cake let alone how to make a cake "pretty"!! But i insist every year that i am going to make it...so this year was no different. I am not sure if you can tell from the pictures but my cakes are ALWAYS on a slant...my husband and I laugh so hard at this...i can never seem to get it right so he now calls it my "Signature look"....i can tell you that my cakes are always the talk of the party...and we always get a good laugh out of them....this year for added interest i put sprinkles on it....they hide a multitude of sins...well all they had were little ball ones. So i covered the top of the cake in them and then decided i wanted the sides to be covered in them too...so i tipped the cake as much as i could without it falling over {we can't have that now!!} and started shaking the bottle toward the edges...well the little balls went EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!! My kids thought it was GREAT....they were diving all over the floor catching them...for about 20 minutes or more they kept finding more....it was funny! So that's my cake story. Oh and the sprinkles were so hard...it was like eating cake with gravel!!! LOL But that was just something else to laugh about!!! hehe....
And just for the record....Matthew thought his cake was the best thing...i wonder how long i can convince him of that????!!! ;)

HAPPY HALLOWEEN PICTURES!!

So Halloween was soooooooo fun this year!

Matthew wanted to be Spiderman and Madison wanted to be Dora {of course!}...we got Matthew his costume no problem...but Madison's costume was a little harder to get. We couldn't find actual Dora costumes anywhere...so we decided that we would just dress her up like Dora but then when we looked at pictures of Dora we noticed she wears shorts and tshirts and it is COLD here!! So that wasn't going to work real well...So as we are getting ready to head out the door for Trick or treating Madison decides she wants to be a BEAR!! LOL And we had a "Nala" costume upstairs from when she was wee little. So that settled it...she was a "bear". We had a bouncy castle and games and cookies and cider in our yard as part of our kids program on a Wednesday night! We had over 200 kids come by and enjoy the fun in our yard!!!

Can you believe Matthew is 5!!!!!!!!!!

Where has time gone?? He had several little parties...one with family and then one with the kids i watch then on the actual day of his birthday he invited 2 friends to Chuck E Cheese. All were very fun...and i have lots of pics to prove it!! LOL

He is already plannig his 6th birthday!!! LOL Always thinking ahead this kid!
